Fine Jewellery that caught our eye during international award season
It has slowly become so that award season is becoming less and less about the awards and more and more about who wore what. We love seeing the glamour, the gowns and if we’re lucky, a sighting or two of pieces that are fresh off the runway from the Couture Week in Paris. And even more than the clothes and beauty looks, it’s the jewels that have become the real deal at award shows. It’s the time when big jewellers around the world put their best foot (or rather carat) forward, and we for one at Libas Now love it! Here are a few fine jewellery pieces that made us drool and swoon…and some that simply had our jaws drop this award season!
Lupita Nyongo
The Academy Award winner donned matching line earrings and bracelet by Forevermark, completing her accessory game with an emerald cut diamond and platinum ring, shining the way on the red carpet.
Mindy Kaling
A marvelous necklace with 78.4 carats of marquis-cut diamonds set in white gold, earrings with 4.2 carats of pear shaped diamonds from Chopard is what the actress chose as she presented at the Oscars.
Greta Gerwig
We love the classic combo of emeralds and diamonds set together, and the ace actress and filmmaker surely pulls it off with such grace.
Jennifer Lopez
JLo definitely makes statements at the red carpet and for the SAG Awards 2020, the actress/singer rocked nearly 200 carats of diamonds in a total of 6 pieces worthy of a whopping $9 million from Harry Winston jewels.
Yvonne Strahovski
We can’t stop staring at the statement rock worthy of a total $25 million (Yes you read that right!!!) from Harry Kotlar, paired with solitaire studs from the same designer.
Zazie Beetz
Zazie Beetz was seen rocking a diamond bib necklace with matching earrings from Bulgari on the Oscars 2020 Red Carpet.
Scarlett Johansson
Not everyone can pull off these diamond encrusted drop earrings as elegantly as Scarlett Johansson does.
Kaitlyn Dever
A delicate diamond necklace and dangling diamond earrings were the perfect choice by the young actress to pair with her sustainably created Louis Vuitton gown at the Oscars 2020 Red Carpet.
Charlize Theron
The Bombshell actress looked gorgeous flaunting a Tiffany & Co. high jewellery necklace that perfectly complemented her sultry all black Christian Dior gown.
Gwyneth Paltrow
Not only did her sheer Fendi gown had everyone talking, the double Bulgari diamond necklace caught everyone’s attention for all the right reasons too.
Florence Pugh
The 24-year-old star, nominated for Best Supporting Actress, was a breath of fresh air on the red carpet in a turquoise ruffled Louis Vuitton gown and a dazzling drop necklace.
Margot Robbie
The sleek black Chanel dress was given a pop of colour with a blue gemstone and pearl brooch.

Last but definitely not the least, the young actor was all set in a navy zip-up and matching pants, but all eyes were on his vintage Cartier brooch, and we loved it!
