The Fashion Awards 2019 took place in London at the Royal Albert Hall and my oh my the evening was no less than a fairytale put up by the fashion elite of the world.

There were 16 award categories for designers, style icons and models of which Bottega Veneta won the two main awards; the brand of the year and designer of the year, both bagged by Bottega’s new creative director, Daniel Lee. Adut Akech took home the model of the year award and she looked gorgeous in an emerald green custom-made Versace gown. A posthumous tribute was paid to the legendary Karl Lagerfeld while Naomi Campbell got the fashion icon award. The evening was hosted by the American award-winning actress, producer and CEO Tracee Ellis Ross.

Rihanna arrived in a self-designed mint green mini dress and Naomi Campbell killed it in a nearly naked dress by Alexandra McQueen.
